Description
Hazel is 92 and has recently been diagnosed with the early stages of dementia. Although she is still able to live independently at home she is not able to leave her house without assistance. Some days she can feel very lonely and anxious and misses being able to chat to someone.

Could you help to reduce Hazels loneliness and anxiety by visiting or telephone calling?

Please help if you can. A few hours per week could make a real difference to Hazel's life.

There are many people like Hazel who are feeling isolated and lonely and in need of a friend.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer befriender then please get in contact.

Support and training given by Age UK, and the chance to meet other volunteers.
